Join Allison Grant, Assistant Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago for an immersion into the work of Leslie Hewitt, on view beginning September 21 in the Anna K. Meredith Gallery. Leslie Hewitt’s work deals with a number of issues that can be traced through the history of photography: Race and representation, personal and collective history, and the constructed image. Follow these threads back into the history of photography and examine other artists’ thinking about similar issues in the present.
