APPLICATION DEADLINE - APRIL 1, 2013

Thank you for choosing the NYS Summer Young Writers Institute at Skidmore College. To successfully apply you will need to submit an online application (link below) and submit the following documents. Please make sure you have the documents ready and in the correct format prior to starting the online application process.

I. Documents you will be uploading to application

Please make sure the filename of your attachments have your full name and item description example: JohnSmithSample.docx. NO SPACES AND NO SYMBOLS.

1) Best Writing Sample- Any Genre(s) (poetry, fiction, nonfiction, play, screenplay). Sample must be no more than 15 pages (double spaced).

Uploads should be in the following format and be no larger than 100MB each.

II. Payment

You will be required to pay a $40 application fee at the time of applying. We accept all major credit cards and online electronic check. You may opt to select “Request Application Fee Waiver” if you are unable to pay this fee.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Once you start your application, you will need to complete it in its entirety. The system will not allow you to make changes once the application has been submitted. If you close the browser you will lose all your information.
