Learning team meetings provide staff an opportunity to collaborate and engage in professional learning to improve their practice in ways that lead to improved student achievement.

Goals of the meetings:
* Focus on improving student learning and outcomes
* Using data to inform our work
* Sharing what we learn
* Bringing ideas that align with school and district priorities

Presenter(s)

Cindy D’Ambrosio has spent her career working to meet the individual and unique learning needs of special education students and supporting families in hopes of improved lifelong outcomes. She has served as the assistant director for CASE for the past three years. This position has provided her the opportunity to facilitate and coordinate professional development, recruit, coach and evaluate talented staff and lead  and support special education initiatives across CASE and member districts.  Prior to coming to CASE, Cindy served as the Director of Elementary Programs at NTDSE in Morton Grove, Illinois, as an assistant principal at Madison Elementary School in Skokie and most importantly as a special education teacher.    In her free time, Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Professional Development Credit: Hours - 1.5

Fees

Free of charge for CASE member districts and staff (Districts 15, 16, 41, 44, 87, 89, 93).
$100 for the training for all other registrants. Materials are included unless otherwise noted.

About Us

The Cooperative Association for Special Education (CASE) is a joint agreement between Marquardt School District 15, Queen Bee School District 16, Glen Ellyn School District 41, Lombard Elementary School District 44, Glenbard Township High School District 87, Community Consolidated School District 89 and Community Consolidated School District 93 in DuPage County. CASE provides varied supports so that each member district can offer a complete range of services to students with special needs between the ages of 3 and 22 years.
