Teachers do not have control over the students they teach, but they do have control over setting up their environment. This fun and engaging training will focus on the 8 Classroom Management Practices that lead to pro-social student behaviors (arranging orderly physical environments, teaching rules/expectations, defining classroom routines, employing active supervision, providing contingent praise for appropriate behaviors, response strategies for inappropriate behaviors, class-wide group contingencies and providing ways for multiple opportunities to respond). Participants will walk away with tools that will increase their knowledge, skills and expertise in Domain 2 and set up students for success!

Jen Tate is currently a Instructional Support Team Coach for CASE.  While this is her first year with CASE, she is in her 11th year of work in schools.  Jen started as a school social worker for 5 years in a therapeutic day school.  Enjoying work with more challenging populations of students, she returned to school and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.  Jen has spent the last 5 years as a behavior specialist, collaborating with teams to develop interventions for challenging students in both general and special education programming and providing professional development to increase teacher and student success.  Jen loves to problem solve situations and encourage educators to think outside the box.

Free of charge for CASE member districts and staff (Districts 15, 16, 41, 44, 87, 89, 93).
$100 for the training for all other registrants. Materials are included unless otherwise noted.
