Details
Participants will be provided with an overview of the CASE evaluation tool using the Embrace Eval electronic evaluation system. This training is required for any assigned Qualified Evaluator that has been designated as a Primary or Alternate evaluator for a CASE. Employee for the 2017-2018 school year. Participants will receive a copy of the revised 2017-2018 Evaluation Plan and review the electronic system for all the necessary forms that accompany the plan.

Cindy D’Ambrosio has spent her career working to meet the individual and unique learning needs of special education students and supporting families in hopes of improved lifelong outcomes. She has served as the assistant director for CASE for the past three years. This position has provided her the opportunity to facilitate and coordinate professional development, recruit, coach and evaluate talented staff and lead  and support special education initiatives across CASE and member districts.  Prior to coming to CASE, Cindy served as the Director of Elementary Programs at NTDSE in Morton Grove, Illinois, as an assistant principal at Madison Elementary School in Skokie and most importantly as a special education teacher.    In her free time, Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.



Continuing Education Credits

This event does not meet the ISBE requirements to provide professional development hours or CEU credits, however you will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion.

The Cooperative Association for Special Education (CASE) is a joint agreement between Marquardt School District 15, Queen Bee School District 16, Glen Ellyn School District 41, Lombard Elementary School District 44, Glenbard Township High School District 87, Community Consolidated School District 89 and Community Consolidated School District 93 in DuPage County. CASE provides varied supports so that each member district can offer a complete range of services to students with special needs between the ages of 3 and 22 years.
