Are you new to using Boardmaker Online? Would you like an hour to focus on creating visual supports and activities using your district-assigned login for Boardmaker Online? If so, this open lab is for you!

As a result of this PD session, participants will know how to access their instructor page in the district's account of Boardmaker Online. Participants will understand how to create a blank board or access templates and save them. Participants will be able to utilize the tabs on their instructor home page to navigate Boardmaker Online and to access the resources that are available.

Presenter(s)

Sherri Maupin-Szweda, MOT, OTR/L, ATP is an occupational therapist and assistive technology consultant. She has worked for CASE for 13 years, initially as an occupational therapy assistant and then as an occupational therapist. For the last four years, Sherri has split her time between occupational therapy and assistive technology coaching. Sherri maintains licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist, National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and is a certified Assistive Technology Professional through the Rehabilitation, Engineering, and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA). Sherri has worked in the public school setting as well as in acute and sub-acute rehabilitation, long-term care facilities, as a home health professional, and as an independent consultant serving students and clients of all ages.

Fees

Free of charge for CASE member districts and staff (Districts 15, 16, 41, 44, 87, 89, 93).
$100 for the training for all other registrants. Materials are included unless otherwise noted.

About Us

The Cooperative Association for Special Education (CASE) is a joint agreement between Marquardt School District 15, Queen Bee School District 16, Glen Ellyn School District 41, Lombard Elementary School District 44, Glenbard Township High School District 87, Community Consolidated School District 89 and Community Consolidated School District 93 in DuPage County. CASE provides varied supports so that each member district can offer a complete range of services to students with special needs between the ages of 3 and 22 years.
