AdibiRays Radiolucent Lesions Module 1

Course Description

This module presents radiologic interest lesions present to practitioners that require identification of these common lesions of interest, necessitates creation of a differential diagnoses and develop a management plan. The presentation is compiled of case studies and provides information in X-rays and is shown step by step including diagnosis, treatment planning, and final outcome.

Upon completion of this course (module), you will be able to:

  • Identify common lesions of radiologic interest
  • Create differential diagnoses for select radiographic lesions

  • Develop an appropriate management plan for select radiographic lesions

  • Evaluate what is learned in this module

About the Presenter(s)


Shawn S. Adibi, DDS, MEd, is an associate professor at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston in the Department of General Practice & Dental Public Health, where he teaches assessment, treatment planning and diagnostic sciences to dental students. He practices as a general dentist at UT Dentists, the School of Dentistry’s faculty practice, where he treats patients with orofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders. He is an academic fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine and has completed the Health Educators Fellowship Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Registration & Cancellation Policy:
Full tuition must accompany each registration to ensure your registration for a course. Tuition is completely refundable if a course is cancelled by the PACE Center, Continuing Dental Education or if the registrant cancels more than 21 working days prior to the course date. Registrants who cancel 10-20 working days prior to the course date may apply the entire course tuition towards another course or receive refund of 50%. No refunds are given for cancellations made less than 5 working days prior to the course date, but tuition may be applied towards a future course. A $75 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations 10 working days prior to the course date. A set deadline is required for certain courses, no registrations or cancellations are accepted after the course set deadline. Please see the specific individual course for the set deadlines. 'No Shows' for a course will forfeit the full registration tuition. The PACE Center, Continuing Dental Education must receive all cancellations in writing prior to the course date for the appropriate refund and/or credit to be issued. The PACE Center, Continuing Dental Education cannot be held responsible for a non-refundable airline ticket in the event of a course cancellation.

  1. Upon registering for the online module you will receive an email with the link to direct you to the course.
  2. Clink the link in your email and log into Oakstone Publishing to begin the module.

  4. Answer the accompanying post-test questions with a passing grade of 70% or greater.
  5. Upon completion of the video and post-test questions, you will be directed to an online survey to evaluate this module. The survey must be completed in order to receive the appropriate CDE credits.
