Reaching Rigor, Relevance & Coherence with the Kansas College & Career Ready Standards for Mathematics
Implementing the Kansas College and Career Ready Mathematics Practice Standards means increasing rigor, relevance, and coherence for all students.
Participants in the workshop will develop familiarity with the Kansas College and Career Ready Standards for Mathematics, with a central focus on the Practice Standards. Video clips will be used as a vehicle for reflecting on the Practice Standards.
Teachers will engage in lessons and activities that fit and support KCCRS with discussion on how they could be modified for use in teachers’ own classrooms.
