This two day workshop will cover how to build quality Three Dimensional classroom assessments in K-12 science, necessary for alignment to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

This two day training is designed for people who are familiar with NGSS and Three Dimensional Learning. The training will incorporate quality classroom assessment materials along with current work in Three Dimensional Science Assessment to help science teachers develop assessments for use in their classrooms and districts.

Information included in this training:
What is Three Dimensional Assessment and how is it different from other assessments?
Why do I need to learn how to use Three Dimensional Assessment?
How do I assess Three Dimensional Learning as required by the NGSS?
Assessment terminology for quality assessments.
Reviewing and evaluating current assessments.
Designing quality assessments and building resources for continuous improvement planning.
Lunch will be provided.
