No matter what discipline you teach, you can use the visual and performing arts to help your students observe carefully, think critically, write clearly, and connect classroom discussions with global issues, past and present. Carolina’s campus is home to major arts resources just waiting for you to discover. Instructors can use learning specialists from these resources to help make their courses richer and engaging. Staff from the Ackland Art Museum, Carolina Performing Arts, and PlayMakers Repertory Company will discuss successful strategies and examples for teaching with the arts, and how they might help you solve some of those persistent problems in the classroom.
Facilitated by Carolyn Allmendinger (Ackland Art Museum), Reed Colver (Carolina Performing Arts), and Jeffrey Meanza (PlayMakers Repertory Company)
