Description

This workshop helps new faculty identify the strengths they “naturally” bring to the core tasks of interacting with others, information gathering, decision-making, and taking action. The possible implications for research, teaching, and collaboration are discussed. Participants will take an online version of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.

Lunch will be provided. We cannot guarantee a lunch for anyone who registers less than 24 hours before the event.

Prerequisites:

This workshop is part of the five-session Spring 2013 Series on Organizational Skills for Early Career Faculty. Participants may register for just one or for any number of workshops in this series. There are no prerequisites. The dates for workshops in this series are: Jan.18, Feb. 15, Mar. 22, Apr. 19, May 10.
