Description:

Active student engagement is one of the essential elements of learning. Learning, developing, and refining strategies to foster engagement in all of the dimensions of a course enlivens class work and outside-of-class thinking, values, and skills. Even in the largest of classes, there are many ways in which to engage students in the learning process: with the instructor, with one another, and with the course material. In this session, specific strategies to foster engaged learning in large classes will be presented and demonstrated.

Facilitated by Donna Bailey, CFE Teaching and Learning Consultant
