OXFAM Social Issues Banquet
Thursday, November 21st
11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
The KSU Oxfam Social Issues Banquet is a hunger simulation event designed to explore impact of hunger on global and local communities. Attendees will enjoy a meal, rich discussion about the issues of poverty and practical opportunities with local agencies through which they can fight poverty. Guests will partake in a variety of meals centered around the social issues of hunger, poverty and scoial injustice.

Preceeding the Banquet is Hunger Action Awareness Action Week which offers a series of Pre-OXFAM service and engagement activities for all.

As a follow up to OXFAM there is a 'Meet & Greet' that will offer faculty and staff, along with community partners, an opportunity to explore the challenges facing social service agencies and prossibly discuss projects that will allow for credit and non-credit baring student engagement, to address these challenges.
