OneWellU Walking Program - Fall 2014

This program is specifically designed to help you to get fit and stay motivated!
All new participants will receive a free pedometer, if requested at registration. Participants may use any device for tracking steps and must log their daily steps using the American Heart Association Activity Tracker online at www.startwalkingnow.org. Using this website, participants will also have the ability to track their diet, create and locate walking paths, form walking groups and access a personalized walking plan, developed by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in collaboration with the AHA.
Throughout the 8-week program, participants can be entered into a weekly prize drawing. Each employee that walks and tracks at least 56,000 steps/week (average of 8,000 steps/day) for the first four weeks will be entered to win a weekly prize. During the second four weeks of the program, participants must track at least 70,000 steps each week (average of 10,000 steps/day) to be entered to win a weekly prize. A participant may only win the weekly prize on one occasion throughout the duration of the 8-week walking program. The participant with the most steps tracked at the end of the 8-week program, will win an Ipod Nano. Participants will receive weekly reminders to log their steps and health tips will be provided.
*Note: Weekly winner can only win once per session. Grand prize winners may not win again in same calendar year. Runner-up will be selected. All prizes are subject to tax.
