Lunch & Learn: Get Active!
Time: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Location: Heer Hall Room 107

This session will review the importance of physical activity, as well as current physical activity recommendations. Practical guidelines for becoming and staying physically active will be provided.
About the presenter: Anika Avery-Grant, MS, RD, LD
Anika Avery-Grant graduated with her Master’s in Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University. She has worked as a clinical dietitian for the past 15 years. She currently works part-time as a renal dietitian at the Centers for Dialysis Care, Inc. Anika is also an adjunct Professor for Ursuline College and Kent University where she teaches nutrition courses. She has published two books, 'The Vegetarian Female' and 'Eating Meatless on Dialysis' and has earned a 1st degree black belt in Kajukenpo Karate.
