Celebrating 19 years of relevance, the annual Conference on College Teaching focuses on the Four Pillars of a Kent State undergraduate curriculum- knowledge, insight, responsibility and engagement.
As in past years, the conference includes internationally recognized speakers, as well as refereed and invited round tables, poster displays designed with your interests in mind, plus online registration. This year a panel discussion, on student engagement, experiential learning and retention will break into round tables. And the pre-conference activity will focus on stimulation and learning.
The conference opens with the Read Distinguished Lecture and culminates with a Dessert Reception to honor recipients of the Distinguished Teaching Awards, the Outstanding Teaching Awards for Non-tenure Track Faculty and the wealth of teaching excellence at Kent State. All events are free and open to all conference participants.
