CERTIFIED INSPECTOR TRAINING PROGRAM
AT K-STATE SALINA

Program Fees

The class fee includes the book/manuals unless otherwise noted, all class materials, refreshment breaks, and use of laboratory equipment during class.
All registrations are on a first come-first served basis.
You will receive your confirmation and statement by email.

Payment Policy

Payment must be received at least 5 business days before the first day of class or exam date.
If payment is not received by the deadline the participant will be removed from the roster.

Registration:

The registration deadline is 5 business days prior to the class start date or the exam date.
If the class you are looking for is not listed below it is either full or the registration deadline has passed.
Same day substitutions and same day registrations are not allowed. Substitutions are allowed up to 5 business days prior to class/exam start date.


Registration Cancellation/Refund Policy

At the end of your confirmation email is a link to cancel your registration.
In order to receive a refund, less a $20 processing fee,
you must cancel at least 5 business days prior to the class/exam start date.
After the deadline, refunds are not available. If the participant fails to attend or cancel by the deadline, the class fee is still due.

K-State Salina CIT Program may cancel or postpone any course or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.
If the event is canceled or postponed, the CIT Program office will refund registration fees, but cannot be held responsible for costs, charges, or expenses,
including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, or travel agencies.

Aggregate Field Class - May 6-8, 2015

This course is required by the Kansas Department of Transportation for persons involved with aggregate field testing. The class fee includes the workbook, classroom instruction, hands-on practice, the written exam and performance exam, parking permit and refreshments. Prerequisite: Pass Basic Math exam at least 30 days prior to class date.

Aggregate Field Quiz Out/Recertification - May 8, 2015
Event is Full: Accepting Wait List Registrations
This course is required by the Kansas Department of Transportation for persons involved with aggregate field testing. The Quiz Out/Recertification option allows a person to take the written and performance exams for initial certification or for recertification without attending class.

Basic Math Exam - This is a prerequisite for most of the certified KDOT classes. It must be completed and passed at least 30 days prior to the start date of the class. Math exam requirements will be waived for individuals who are licensed Professional Engineers or Intern Engineers, or have passed the Engineer in Training Exam or the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. Individuals must provide a copy of their Professional Engineer license, Intern Engineer Certificate or certificates that they passed the Engineer in Training or Fundamentals of Engineering Exams in order to be granted the waiver. Certificates need to be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the class they wish to attend. Submit by emailing to profed@k-state.edu or fax to 785-826-2632.

Environmental Inspector Training - June 15-16, 2015 - Wichita

This course is required by the Kansas Department of Transportation for individuals conducting site inspections for compliance with the KDHE general permit. The contractor’s Water Pollution Control Manager (WPCM) is required to have completed both the Environmental Inspector and the Environmental Manager Training within the 12 months prior to beginning construction on a new project. If the WPCM changes during construction, the replacement WPCM must have completed both training courses within the 12 months prior to assuming the WPCM duties.

If the WPCM changes during construction, the replacement WPCM must have completed both training courses within the 12 months prior to assuming the WPCM duties.
