English Learner Coaching Cycles are job embedded professional learning designed around the goals of the participating educator. Coaches will meet with you, help identify the goals you have for your instruction or EL program, and then come beside you through in person sessions at your school and in your classroom. Specialty areas include refining EL programs and service models, building capacity to effectively work with Newcomers, enhancing sheltered instruction techniques, and strengthening culturally responsive systems for English Learners. Coaching cycles are flexible in length and based upon your needs. Educators can participate in up to 2 coaching cycles this year, each cycle varying between 1hr and 10 hours (max 20 hours for the year).
