Join the training to receive access to updated and now digital Michigan Model for Health curriculum. This comprehensive and evidence-based is proven to improve the health knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors of students. This training will provide curriculum review on these key health topics areas*:
*Please note that this training will not provide certification or curriculum access for teaching HIV/Reproductive Health. Teachers will need to attend the MMH HIV/STI certification trainings to complete this mandate and receive curriculum access.
All participants must complete the online portion of the training prior to attending. Online portion is estimated to take approximately no longer than two (2) hours.Once you register, you will receive a link to complete the online portion.
Stipends will be provided for time & all curriculum materials will be purchased free of charge.
Amber Hubbell
Amber brings a dynamic background of international and domestic experiences in many arenas of health care and education. While earning a bachelors of science, she worked with early childhood centers, health clinics, and community empowerment organizations in East Africa; leading into her service as a Peace Corps Community Health Volunteer in South East Asia. Amber went on to complete her Master in Public Health-Health Promotion, while working in local school districts. Amber continues to work in her passions of health, education, and community service as a Health Education consultant at Kent Intermediate School District.
