Course Description
Purpose
Evaluate how blended learning can be used to personalize learning in a 6-12 environment. Participants will enhance a unit they are already teaching by blending digital tools and face to face instruction.
Objective
- Analyze how to implement blended learning in classroom instruction
- Understand the need for creating a blended learning environment and the drivers of blended learning.
- Intentionally design lesson components best suited for digital and facetoface instruction in a chosen unit.
- Learn how to utilize a Learning Management System
- Create assessments that inform instruction.
- Learn the usefulness of a PLN
