Conversation in the Living Room: Canvas Blueprint

Canvas Blueprint Master Courses are empty Canvas course shells that contain no students and are housed separately from courses generated in Gulfline. In a Blueprint Master Course, course content, revisions and communications can be pushed out through syncing with associated courses/sections. This is a good solution for large, multiple-instructor courses that need consistency in content and student experience. Blueprint Master Courses are also a great solution for instructors/faculty who are teaching two or more of the same course each semester. You will also hear from faculty who are already using Canvas Blueprint in various ways to streamline their workload and provide a more consistent learning experience for students.

Join the Instructional Designers from e-Learning to discuss the new Canvas Blueprint feature.

About Us

The Lucas Center for Faculty Development

The Lucas Center supports activities that help you grow as a teacher. Most of our topics and programs are the result of feedback from the FGCU faculty community perception of needs. Our Center offers creative learning experiences focused in the areas of teaching, learning, assessment and scholarship. Watch for e-mails announcing activities that may interest you. Our goal is to be a consistent source of support to faculty by providing activities that are engaging, inspiring, practical, and useful. Stop by to say hello and see our wonderful space in LIB 221, affectionately known as “The Living Room.”
