This two-day workshop provided by Sue Brady takes High Ability instruction to the next level. In these two days, participants will learn more about assessing HA students, differentiating for these students, and developing elements of the curriculum that provide challenge, complexity, depth, creativity, conceptual and advanced levels of learning for HA students. Time to collaborate, network and learn with other HA classroom teachers will be provided.
Participants will select and implement one technique learned from DAY 1 during the interim between sessions. Participants will be asked to bring an artifact/student work from the strategy they implemented to DAY 2 of the workshop.

Sue is semi-retired after 40 years in education: 30 years in the classroom followed by 10 as a district administrator. Twenty years of her classroom experiences were spent as a high ability teacher (grades 2-8) in various models. She has worked in rural, suburban, and urban districts. Her responsibilities as a district administrator included coordinating K-12 high ability programming in the MSD of Wayne Township, among many other duties. Sue also has served as IAG President and has chaired several state conferences.

WVEC CANCELLATION POLICY:
* Registrants who notify WVEC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.
* Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop will pay 50% of the registration fee.
* Registrants who neglect to call or notify the WVEC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full fee.
* On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees.
*Cost of all workshops are based on membership in an Indiana ESC. Any registrants who are not members of an ESC in the state of Indiana will be required to pay the non-member fee of twice the amount of the workshop cost.
