*Keeping It R.E.A.L. in the Classroom (K-6)

Research shows that students have a deeper level of understanding when learning experiences are meaningful and inquiry-based. This workshop will focus on creating these types of experiences in the K-6 classroom by focusing on how learning activities are Relevant, Engaging, Authentic, and Learner-Centered. We will dive into how to seamlessly integrate technology and develop problem solving and critical thinking skills in students starting with performance-based objectives and deconstruct them to find the experiences students will need to be successful. Leave with concrete ideas they can integrate into their classrooms immediately.
