Hey second grade teachers, this workshop will be a day full of ideas, resources and projects for your classroom! Attend to get new plans from a practicing teacher and network with teachers from your own grade level.
Carrie Ransom is a teacher at Thorntown Elementary, Western Boone School Corporation. Her career began in Kokomo at Pettit Park Elementary in 1995 before moving to Granville Wells in 2000. Through the years she has taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 2nd grade. Carrie graduated from Indiana University with a BS in elementary education and Butler University where she received a masters in school administration. Carrie and her husband live in Lebanon and have two daughters, Marli and Janie. Outside of family and church, teaching is Carrie's passion. She spends most 'free' time surfing the web to find fresh, new ideas to use in her classroom.

WVEC CANCELLATION POLICY:
* Registrants who notify WVEC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.
* Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop will pay 50% of the registration fee.
* Registrants who neglect to call or notify the WVEC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full fee.
* On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees.
*Cost of all workshops are based on membership in an Indiana ESC. Any registrants who are not members of an ESC in the state of Indiana will be required to pay the non-member fee of twice the amount of the workshop cost.
