Do you work with an English Learner (or two? five? twenty?)? Aren’t sure what to do to support them? Do you feel like it is “just one more thing? Let’s work together to learn strategies that will increase the achievement for not only your English Learners, but all students. AT SIOP Building Bridges, you will learn the basics of the SIOP (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol). This protocol was developed by observing the most successful classroom teachers and implementation components to increase achievement for all students. Bring a lesson or unit plan idea and walk away with ideas on how to intentionally reach the diverse learners in every classroom. (K-12)
