Schools and educators are finding out that one cannot simply hand a teacher and student a device and expect them to be prepared for a 1:1 learning environment. This takes modeling and immersion for the teachers, just as much as the students. Come learn how to effectively manage a 1:1 environment, increase student engagement with online activities, and incorporate the 4C's (collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and communication) into your classroom while using technology. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the SAMR Model and how to 'tech up' a lesson that they already teach.
This workshop will be held at Hobart High School in Hobart, IN. You will enter through Door 1 and will meet in Room LC111.
ALL TIMES FOR THIS WORKSHOP ARE CENTRAL TIME!
