Building off of the 'Introduction to Balanced Math' workshop, this session will dig deeply into the ways that we construct problem solving activities for children as well as the strategies students should know when solving these problems. Ideas will be closely linked to the Indiana College and Career Readiness Standards. Presented by Ryan Flessner.
Ryan Flessner is an Associate Professor of Teacher Education at Butler University. Prior to this, he taught elementary school in Indianapolis, New York City, and Madison, Wisconsin.
