Humans are thinking and feeling creatures. Educators are seeing an increased number of students entering classrooms without adequate social and emotional skills to be successful in an academic setting and beyond. During this workshop, educators will learn about brain development, conducting community circles in the classroom, the value of engaging students in social and emotional learning, and how each of these areas can improve verbal language skills, vocabulary, and social interactions.
