This is an informative workshop on the fundamentals of pruning. Participants are instructed on the different types of pruning equipment and safety, the best pruning techniques, and the proper time to prune. The primary focus is, but not limited to, trees and shrubs. Pruning is a beneficial horticultural practice for the overall health of plants, as well as, stimulating new growth and flowering.
Charles Tomberlin has degrees in horticulture and landscape architecture. Throughout over two decades in the industry, he has held various positions including landscape foreman, designer, and area manager. He was also a horticulturist with the North Carolina Botanical Garden for four years.
