Wildlife rehabilitation is the permitted care of orphaned injured and ill wildlife for the purpose of release back into their natural habitat. In this program, you will learn what wildlife rehabilitation is all about, the federal and state regulations that govern it, and what it is to work hands on with different wildlife with the goal of rerelease. We will also explore a variety of patient cases, from birds to reptiles to mammals to fit all interests.

Students will take away a glimpse into the practice and how to earn their permit if they so choose. If you are interested in wildlife rehab or would simply like to know more, this is the course for you.
