This symposium will explore current evidence-based practices related to COVID-19’s impact on cardiovascular disease. Learn about medications precautions with COVID-19 patients, how the virus affects heart failure, emergency care, long-term implications, and more!


Program Objectives:

  • Explain long-term complications from COVID-19 exposure in cardiac patients
  • Recognize COVID-19's mark on mental health
  • Examine implications of COVID-19 on heart failure
  • Identify contraindications with cardiac medications in COVID-19 patients
  • Distinguish emergency department and CATH lab impacts with COVID-19


In order to receive continuing education hours for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements:
