Target Audience

All nursing staff (RNs, CNAs, Techs), social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and other interdisciplinary healthcare professionals involved in the care of older adults.

We encourage AgeWISE nurses to attend for AgeWISE sustainability.


Details

This program is designed to provide an interprofessional forum for staff to engage in learning and implementing best practices in geropalliative care; to improve patient outcomes through sustaining and spreading AgeWISE principles, and to provide ongoing support to AgeWISE RNs and AgeWISE sustainability.

 

Program Objectives:

  • Discuss services available from the Legal Aid of Nebraska

  • Describe the House Call program through Methodist Health System

  • Examine the Nebraska Emergency Treatment Orders (NETO)

 

 

In order to receive continuing education credit for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements:

  • Attendance at entire activity
  • Completion/submission of evaluation form
