The purpose of this program is to increase knowledge related to perinatal marijuana use and its impact on the care of mothers and their infants.


Program Objectives:

  • Discuss current marijuana screening recommendations for mothers during pregnancy.
  • Illustrate one strategy to support mothers with a history of perinatal marijuana use.
  • Identify one current recommendation regarding maternal marijuana use and breastfeeding.


In order to receive continuing education hours for this event, you must meet the following completion requirements:

  • Attendance at the entire activity
  • Completion/submission of evaluation form within 30 days of the program
