Methodist Health System employees who provide their employee ID number on the registration form may take this course at no cost. NMC students can attend at no cost (they do not receive CE). NMC Alumni receive 75% off of the program's value.

The purpose of this program is to provide legal education for healthcare professionals to enhance their professional practice.

Nurses: 1.0 contact hours awarded. MW MSD Provider Approval #NE 1019-9. Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Nebraska Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Social Work: This offering meets the continuing education criteria for 1.0 clock hours for Nebraska Social Workers.
Physical Therapy And Physical Therapist Assistants: This offering meets the continuing education criteria for 1.0 clock hours for Nebraska physical therapists and physical therapist assistants.
Occupational Therapy and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants: This offering meets the continuing education criteria for 1.0 clock hours for Nebraska occupational therapists and certified occupational therapy assistants.
Education: 1.0 Education hours. Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development assigns education hours based on 60 minutes of classroom instruction for each offering. Participants may use these for their professional continuing education hours and toward re-licensure if so approved within the standards and guidelines of their discipline.
