Thank you for your interest in Skidmore College on-campus housing.
All residential rooms include one pillow, sheets, a thin bedspread, and two towels. We’d suggest bringing an extra bath towel and a warmer comforter as the nights can be cool. The College does not provide televisions; however, all rooms have a cable TV and internet hook up, and free wireless access is available in all residential spaces.
Skidmore offers two options for on-campus housing: apartments and residence halls.
Our air-conditioned four-bedroom apartments hold a maximum number of four guests per apartment. Apartments will be shared with other IVSA guests, unless you have a group of 4 people (assigned a full apartment together). Otherwise, please anticipate sharing the apartment living space and a bathroom with other attendees. You will have your own, private bedroom within the apartment. If you have someone with whom you would like to share the apartment, please note on the registration form in the roommate preference section. Each apartment has an open living and dining room, kitchen, and two bathrooms. The kitchen, however, does not have any dishes, nor pots, pans, flatware, coffee pot, etc. Beds are full size.
A photo gallery of the apartments may be viewed here.
Residence Halls have shared bathrooms. This means that four to six rooms share one bathroom, which includes two sinks, a toilet, and a shower with a door. You will be assigned a single room (no roommate). Beds are Twin XL. Photos and information on the Residence Halls
Breakfast, lunch and dinner in our award-winning dining hall are included in the fees below—on-campus housing requires a meal plan. Vegetarian options are available for all meals. Meals begin with dinner on the day of your arrival and end with lunch on the day of your departure. All fees reflect a complimentary lunch on June 20, June 22, or both, depending on the length of your stay.
All guests must adhere to the following Residential Policies.
