WebPublish is a web content authoring tool that provides a simple interface for users to generate content for their department's website through a web browser.


This workshop offers you the opportunity to learn the basics of WebPublish, using a training website to participate in hands-on activities.


Topics to be covered include:

  • creating and editing a page;
  • making a page live;
  • uploading assets (e.g., images and PDFs);
  • URL aliases;
  • site enhancements (e.g., column layouts, blocks, collapsibles, etc.); 
  • effective use of support mechanisms in place; and
  • accessibility roles and responsibilities
