Our roles in academia have been redefined, reimagined, and repurposed. As we are asked to do more with less, we need to start paying more attention to how we take care of ourselves and prevent burnout. Only by encouraging wellness, buoyancy, and optimism can we develop a resilient, strong, and healthy community of scholars. In this session, we will explore evidence-based models that can support our ability to flourish in the workplace. Based on the presenter's research on burnout, and our discussions and collective experiences we will identify several strategies to guide us in our practice.
