E-Mail has become a dominant form of written communication, yet few people have ever received any training in this medium. . This workshop changes that.
In this workshop, you will learn how to master e-mail conventions such as jargon and etiquette, project a professional image, simplify and clarify your e-mail by choosing the right words, write persuasively so that people act quickly, and structure your e-mail messages for impact. You will also learn the do's and don'ts for protecting personal and confidential information, as well as tips on managing e-mail messages as university records.
