his workshop invites individuals to reflect upon the university’s commitment to accessibility and inclusiveness by encouraging and helping educators recognize, understand, and develop accessible teaching practices. In this workshop you will learn about accessibility, accommodation, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), as well as the impact, benefits, and challenges of implementing these strategies into your teaching practice. We will also provide a space for you to reflect upon how the principles of UDL may be integrated into your classrooms, assignments, and syllabi in a comfortable and peer supportive setting.

The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is offering a series of workshops that will help you complete the Certificate in Professional Development in University Teaching and Learning (PUTL), which is geared toward developing the elements required for a teaching dossier. Each workshop will lead you through one of the five required modules of the PUTL.
