The word networking conjures up images of meeting strangers in large rooms full of people but it doesn’t have to be awkward or intimidating. Let’s look at an approach that leverages our natural abilities as well as the virtual world we currently find ourselves in.
With a focus on quality versus quantity, we will look at authentic ways to grow your circle of support. Drawing on the work of Karen Wickre “Taking the Work out of Networking” we will talk about why networking matters, unleashing the introvert’s secret power, tips to making a meaningful connection, principles of no-pressure networking, and developing your online toolkit.
