ABOUT: The Coppell Life Safety Park is proud to offer free study trip opportunities for larger groups (up to 90 students)! Your visit to LSP will include an educational safety lesson, with topic determined by grade level, as well as hands-on time relevant to the safety topic.
REGISTRATION INFO: This registration slot is open for any DFW-area daycare, homeschool, or private/charter school to register their class for a Life Safety Park (LSP) study trip.

MAXIMUM STUDENT CAPACITY PER SESSION: 90
CHAPERONE TO STUDENT RATIO REQUIREMENTS:
Pre-K - 1 : 2
Kindergarten & 1st Grade - 1 : 3
2nd - 3rd Grade - 1 : 6
4th - 5th Grade - 1 : 10
If you anticipate having trouble meeting this requirement, please call us to find a solution!
OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:
- Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class time
- Students & chaperones must wear closed-toed shoes
- Candid photos may be taken
- Child siblings not allowed
LIFE SAFETY PARK TOPICS: Topics are set by grade level as follows:
Pre-K: Firefighter Show-and-Tell
Kindergarten & 1st Grade: Basic Emergency Safety (w/ jeeps)**
2nd - 3rd Grade: Jr. Fire Academy: Fire and Burn Prevention
4th - 5th Grade: Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety (w/ bikes)**
Registrant will have the chance to specify grade level during the registration questionnaire.
**Please note that for LSP jeep/bike programs, while we will do our best to try and allow all children to drive the jeeps/bikes, with larger groups these logistics are markedly harder. Jeep/Bike driving time may be shortened to allow all groups/children be able to drive the jeeps/bikes, or we may have to only allow half to drive, and half be passengers. Bike sizes may not be appropriate for all children and/or abilities. In any case, your cooperation along with the chaperones in making these group switches quick and efficient is extremely appreciated.
