About: Students in this class will learn about how to be safe in the summer sun and when finding relief in the water. Topics will include general water and pool safety practices, open water safety (life jackets), and heat safety. To cap off the class with some fun, students will then be treated to a water balloon fight out on Safety Town!

Requirements: Children enrolled in this class should be in Kindergarten thru 5th Grade ONLY.

• Due to the ever-changing situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, this course is subject to change and/or cancellation without notice.
• For the health and safety of all class participants and employees, all participants over the age of 2 are encouraged--but not required--to wear a mask while on the Life Safety Park campus; masks will be available at LSP.
• Equipment, floor mats, and high-touch areas will be sanitized before and after class, but we ask for your mindfulness of you and your child's personal cleanliness - please throw away used tissues/wipes, cover all coughs/sneezes, wash hands after using restroom, and avoid contact with unnecessary surfaces or items.

Things to Know:

• Arrive 10 minutes prior to class time
• Candid photos may be taken
• Please dress your child accordingly - closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, etc.
• Due to some of the activities, children will get wet. Bringing a towel and/or change of clothes is advised.
• Parents are required to stay with their child(ren) for this class.
