Our Gastroenterology, Liver and Nutrition Program is excited to announce that Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is hosting a feeding disorders symposium.
Caring for a child with feeding disorders is extremely stressful and impacts not only the child, but the entire family. Learning more to help understand the role of underlying medical issues, feeding skills, nutritional and behavioral concerns will help parents and caregivers advocate for the child they love. Every situation is unique, but we can help understand the role of each key area that can affect feeding (skill, medical, nutrition and behavior).
This symposium will provide families with information that will help you ask questions to the medical team caring for your child. Experts from our Feeding, Swallowing and Nutritional Care Program will discuss the latest research, current trends in care management and tips for living with feeding disorders. This symposium is evidence based and will provide you with reliable information and breakout sessions working directly with our experts.
To register now or for additional information, please visit https://bit.ly/2muujjX. Registration is limited to 100 attendees, and is based on a first come first serve basis. Registration is open until September 21.
The symposium will be held at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Corporate Center, 999 N. 92nd St., Milwaukee, WI 53226 4th Floor, Room 130.
*Registration fee: $50 per person
To be considerate of others, please do not bring young children. Due to limited space, we ask that only two members per family register for the symposium.
