This course offers an overview in one of three areas; upholstery, alterations and quality inspection. Participation in this course will provide students with information regarding; other sectors of the cut and sew industry. An overview of duties and tasks, new equipment and tools used, regulations and specification for quality cut and sewn products.

12 hours of elective course work in Upholstery.

Learning outcomes:
1 Define Upholstery career

2 Define Upholsterer duties and tasks
3 Demonstrate the process of upholstering a piece of furniture
4 Explain the tools and equipment
