Early Warning System uses readily available data to identify students who are struggling and allow educators to intervene early.
Building teams will work with tools populated with their own data to identify at-risk students as well as look at the building level systems and their impact on learning. The series will present a number of best practice systems and interventions that could be incorporated in the building. The research behind successful intervention strategies and structures will be discussed. Teams will have time to work on action plans based on their findings.
Day 3 - Early Warning Systems Day 3 will provide further research-based intervention strategies as well as factors and tools for determining if a student is at risk of failure and/or dropping out. The day will focus on the complete semester student data and provide teams with support to understand and interpret EWS reports. Teams will evaluate current interventions and investigate additional potential programs and strategies.
The cost for this event is $25.
Please note: a $25 late fee will be charged for all registrations after 1/30/2023 for late registration.
