Claude Drouet, LCSW
Claude Drouet has been a practicing Social Worker for 40 years. Mr. Drouet is currently in the private practice of clinical social work with a focus on Health Professionals' mental health concerns. His overall work experience has included work with Seven Counties Services, the Wayne Corporation, Baptist Hospital Behavioral Health, The Morton Center, and the Kentucky Mental Health Association. Drouet is also a part-time instructor with the Kent School of Social Work where he provides CEU presentations as part of Kent's outreach to MSW professionals.
Drouet holds a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville (1982), a Master of Divinity and Church-Related Social Work from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (1981), and a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University with an emphasis in European history (1975).
To maintain approval to be a clinical supervisor, an individual must complete a three (3) hour refresher course during each renewal period. The 3 hour interactive course meets the KY state requirements to act as a supervisor of record. Concepts covered include: supervision objectives, supervision models, supervisory contracts, parallel process, clinical supervision records, transference/counter transference, and phases of the supervision process.
