Learning team meetings provide staff an opportunity to collaborate and engage in professional learning to improve their practice in ways that lead to improved student achievement.

Goals of the meetings:
* Focus on improving student learning and outcomes
* Using data to inform our work
* Sharing what we learn
* Bringing ideas that align with school and district priorities

Facilitator/Presenter(s)


Tricia Sharkey is currently the Assistant Director at CASE.  Previous to this role, Tricia was the Administrator of Student Support Services at CASE.  She has worked for the last 15 years at CASE.  Tricia started off as a Speech Language Pathologist for CASE, then moved into the role of Assistive Technology Consultant and is currently in an Administrative role.  Tricia has a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from Illinois State University.  She also has a Masters Degree in Teacher Leadership from Concordia University in Chicago with a Principalship Endorsement.  Tricia is currently working on obtaining her Director of Special Education Endorsement as well.  Tricia is passionate about connecting with her staff members and leading them to discover their individual and unique talents.

About Us

The Cooperative Association for Special Education (CASE) is a joint agreement between Marquardt School District 15, Queen Bee School District 16, Glen Ellyn School District 41, Lombard Elementary School District 44, Glenbard Township High School District 87, Community Consolidated School District 89 and Community Consolidated School District 93 in DuPage County. CASE provides varied supports so that each member district can offer a complete range of services to students with special needs between the ages of 3 and 22 years.
