Learning team meetings provide staff an opportunity to collaborate and engage in professional learning to improve their practice in ways that lead to improved student achievement.

Goals of the meetings:
* Focus on improving student learning and outcomes
* Using data to inform our work
* Sharing what we learn
* Bringing ideas that align with school and district priorities

Facilitator/Presenter(s)


Dr. Matt Epperley is the Administrator of Social Emotional Health and Wellness for CASE. He has spent his career serving students, staff, and families. Prior to coming to CASE, Matt served as a school counselor for six years and was an administrator in Oswego SD308 for the past four years.  During his administrative tenure, he served as the School-Community Resource Coordinator, Restorative Justice Coordinator and Assistant Director of District Student Services. He is passionate about social emotional learning, multi-tiered system of support (MTSS), mental health services and support, wellness/wellbeing, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), trauma sensitive schools, fostering resilient schools, and restorative practices. In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and children

About Us

The Cooperative Association for Special Education (CASE) is a joint agreement between Marquardt School District 15, Queen Bee School District 16, Glen Ellyn School District 41, Lombard Elementary School District 44, Glenbard Township High School District 87, Community Consolidated School District 89 and Community Consolidated School District 93 in DuPage County. CASE provides varied supports so that each member district can offer a complete range of services to students with special needs between the ages of 3 and 22 years.
