Learning team meetings provide staff an opportunity to collaborate and engage in professional learning to improve their practice in ways that lead to improved student achievement.

Goals of the meetings:
* Focus on improving student learning and outcomes
* Using data to inform our work
* Sharing what we learn
* Bringing ideas that align with school and district priorities

Presenter(s)


Allyson Baisden is currently the Administrator of Student Support Serivices at CASE. Previous to this role, Ally worked in Administration as Director of Student Services, a District Coordinator of Student Services, and an Assistant Principal in K-12 districts. Ally began in education as a School Social Worker and spent 14 years working in this capacity prior to transitioning into administration. Ally has a Master's Degree in Social Work from University of Illinois Chicago, an Educational Leadership Degree from Concordia University and her Director's of Special Education Endorsement. In addition, she is a licensed Clinical Social Worker. Ally is passionate about creating relationships with those she serves and advocating for student needs. 



Continuing Education Credits

1 hour of PD per meeting

Fees

Free of charge for CASE member districts and staff (Districts 15, 16, 41, 44, 87, 89, 93).
$100 for the training for all other registrants. Materials are included unless otherwise noted.

About Us

The Cooperative Association for Special Education (CASE) is a joint agreement between Marquardt School District 15, Queen Bee School District 16, Glen Ellyn School District 41, Lombard Elementary School District 44, Glenbard Township High School District 87, Community Consolidated School District 89 and Community Consolidated School District 93 in DuPage County. CASE provides varied supports so that each member district can offer a complete range of services to students with special needs between the ages of 3 and 22 years.
