Facilitator

Chris Brown
Consultant
eLearning Services

With over 40 years of experience at UofSC, Chris Brown has been studying instructional technology and higher education for many years now. Although she has using technology to teach technology for 28+ years, she began using Blackboard in 1998 when UofSC first acquired the tool, and then became the director of Academic Services, the group that supported Blackboard, in 2001. Brown retired in 2015, but she's continuing to work part-time because working with faculty and technology is one of her favorite past-times.

Elvin Boone
Consultant
eLearning Services

Elvin Boone started working in the Thomas Cooper Library as a student attending UofSC and, really, never left. He studied English Literature. The UofSC Blackboard team scooped him up in 2019, and he's been managing projects, giving workshops and generally trying to stay out of trouble ever since.
